Milo is a lunehound, a shepherd line bred for low gravity: long legs, gripping paw pads, a charcoal coat with a rust saddle, and ear membranes that flare when the air pressure drops. Lunehounds live about as long as people do. Milo is 28, the same age as Adolin, and he was Adolin's mother's dog first. In New Haven he's a living leak detector, and the best walking partner on the catwalk.
